A New Chapter for Camp Days

If you've logged into Camp Days in the last few hours, you've probably noticed something different. The site looks cleaner. It moves faster. The dashboard finally feels like the tool I always pictured in my head.

That's because Sunday night, we launched a complete rebuild of Camp Days — front end and back end — and I couldn't be more excited to share it with you.

Why we rebuilt it

I'll be honest with you: Camp Days didn't start as a business idea. It started because I'm a mom of three, and every season I was drowning in spreadsheets, screenshots, and twenty open browser tabs trying to figure out where my kids were going to be over school breaks. I built Camp Days because I needed it.

And because I use this platform myself, every clunky click, every slow page, every missing feature — I felt it too. The previous version of Camp Days got us off the ground, but it wasn't the experience parents (or camp directors) deserved.

So we rebuilt it.

What's new

With my software engineer leading the build, we've reimagined the platform from the ground up. The result is a Camp Days that's:

More streamlined. Search and booking flow the way they should — fewer steps, less friction.

More organized. A redesigned dashboard so your family's plans (or your camp's listings) live in one tidy place.

For parents

Log in and take a look around. Update your profile, your kids' interests, your saved camps — the more current your information, the better Camp Days works for you. Whether you already know exactly which camp you're booking or you're still figuring out what fits your family, the new platform is built to meet you where you are.

For camp directors

Your listings are the heart of this platform. Take a few minutes to refresh yours — new photos, updated dates, current pricing, accessibility details. Parents are planning right now, and a current profile makes a real difference in who finds you.

And if your camp is already listed on Camp Days but you haven't claimed it yet, now's the perfect time. Claiming your listing gives you control over your camp's profile, the ability to keep details current, and direct visibility to the families searching for exactly what you offer. Head to your camp's page and click "Claim this listing" to get started.

Here's what I want you to know: I'm not done. I'll never be done.

Because I use Camp Days for my own family, I see every place this tool can keep getting better — and I'm committed to making it better, season after season. New features, smarter search, more ways to share and plan with the people in your village. If it would make your life easier as a parent or your work easier as a camp director, it's on my list.
